Landscape painting, preferably in watercolour, has been my hobby for very many years. The paintings dotted about the site are all my own work.

Bempton Cliffs are not far from my home in East Yorkshire. It is a well-known bird sanctuary and contains the only mainland gannet colony in England.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds takes care of the site and provides viewing places.

'Footprints in the snow'
This painting proved to be so popular, I have painted several copies.

Again, it is the view of Bridlington from the east.

This is my         very first effort to paint in pastel. The colours are rather strong. Perhaps better next time.
